Training for Therapists

Practical. Experiential. Built for the work you actually do.

The Center for Emotional Enlightenment provides continuing education and professional training for counselors and other mental health professionals who want practical tools they can bring into the therapy room.

Led by Melanie Taylor, LPC-S, trainings focus on trauma-informed care, experiential interventions, sand tray, parts work, supervision, ethics, boundaries, identity, and the clinical work that happens beyond the textbook.

The goal is simple: you should leave a training knowing more, but you should also leave knowing what to do with what you learned.

Individual Training for Therapists

Sometimes you don’t need another large workshop.

You need time to ask your questions, work through a clinical idea, practice an intervention, or learn something specific to the clients you actually see.

One-on-one professional training is available virtually or in person and can be customized around areas such as:

Therapy Intensives
Sand tray with adults
Parts work and experiential interventions
Private practice development
Clinical supervision
Therapist identity and confidence
Integrating creative approaches into traditional therapy

Half-day, full-day, and multi-day options are available.

Bring a Training to Your Organization

Trainings can also be developed for counseling practices, agencies, professional organizations, universities, and clinical teams.

Topics may include trauma-informed care, supervision, ethics and social media, experiential counseling techniques, boundaries, sand tray, therapist development, and other areas tailored to your group.
