Sometimes what we’re missing isn’t another therapy session.
Sometimes we’re simply missing enough time.
There are moments in therapy when an hour is exactly what’s needed.
There are other moments when you’re just beginning to understand something important, only to realize it’s time to stop.
A Therapy Intensive creates the opportunity to continue.
Instead of ending just as the conversation begins to deepen, we have the time to slow down, stay with what matters, and allow the work to unfold without feeling rushed.
This isn’t about fitting more therapy into a day.
It’s about giving meaningful therapy the time it deserves.
Why More Time Can Matter
Most therapy sessions begin with catching your breath.
You’re shifting from work, family, responsibilities, traffic, or everything else you’ve been carrying that day.
By the time you’ve settled in enough to talk about what really matters, it’s often time to wrap up.
A Therapy Intensive creates room for a different pace.
There is time to settle into the work.
Time to follow an important conversation instead of watching the clock.
Time to pause when needed, gather your thoughts, and continue.
For many people, that uninterrupted time changes the experience of therapy.
Why I Offer Therapy Intensives
For years, I attended weekly therapy and made meaningful progress.
But because of the level of trauma I had experienced, fifty-minute sessions often felt incomplete.
As a therapist, I would leave my own appointment just as we were getting somewhere, then immediately shift into caring for my clients. It was difficult to stay with my own work long enough to let it unfold before moving into the next part of my day.
When I experienced a Therapy Intensive, I realized what I had been missing.
For the first time, I wasn’t watching the clock.
I wasn’t deciding what needed to wait until next week.
There was time to settle in, follow what mattered, take a break when I needed one, and return to the work without feeling rushed.
Some of the greatest clarity I experienced in my own therapy came during those longer sessions, because I finally had enough time to stay with it.
That experience is what led me to begin offering Therapy Intensives in 2019.
I wanted to offer my clients the kind of therapeutic experience that had been so meaningful in my own life.
Sometimes the greatest gift in therapy isn’t another technique.
Sometimes it’s having enough time for the noise to quiet so you can hear yourself again.
What Clients Have Appreciated
Over the years, clients have shared that what they appreciated most wasn’t simply having a longer appointment.
It was having the time to stay with the work.
They’ve described appreciating:
Not feeling rushed.
Having enough time to get to what really mattered.
Being able to pause, regroup, and continue.
Leaving without feeling like an important conversation had been cut short.
Having space to think instead of feeling pressured by the clock.
Feeling more present throughout the day.
Having time to reflect before returning to everyday life.
A therapy experience that felt thoughtful rather than hurried.
Every Therapy Intensive is different because every person is different.
Is a Therapy Intensive Right for You?
A Therapy Intensive may be a good fit if:
You often leave therapy wishing you had more time.
You feel like your session ends just as you’re getting to what matters most.
You’d like dedicated time to focus on one area without feeling rushed.
You’re traveling to Arkansas for therapy and want to make the most of your visit.
You’re looking for a therapy experience designed around your needs instead of a standard appointment.
What to Expect
Every Therapy Intensive begins with a 90-minute planning session.
We’ll talk about what brings you in, discuss your goals, review your history, and decide how to make the best use of our time together.
From there, I’ll create a plan designed specifically for you.
No preset packages.
No one-size-fits-all schedule.
Just thoughtful therapy built around your goals.
An Investment in Yourself
Most of us spend our lives investing in other people and other responsibilities.
We invest in our families.
Our work.
Our homes.
Our education.
The relationship you have with yourself deserves that same attention.
The things we make room for often become the things that shape our lives.
Choosing a Therapy Intensive is choosing to make room for yourself.
It’s setting aside dedicated time to focus on work that often gets pushed aside by the demands of everyday life.

What Matters Most to Me
Beginning therapy is a big step.
Choosing to spend several hours with someone you’ve just met can feel even bigger.
I don’t take that trust lightly.
My hope is that when you walk through my door, you’ll feel welcome.
You don’t have to know exactly what to say.
You don’t have to have everything figured out.
We’ll start where you are.
My role is to provide a space where you can slow down, feel supported, and engage in meaningful therapeutic work at a pace that fits you.
Over time, I hope this becomes a place where you don’t have to keep trying to figure out who you need to be.
Instead, you’ll have the time and support to discover more of who you already are.
